This summer, it is time for a very special activity: ERBO GmbH, HAM Präzision - Hartmetallwerkzeugfabrik Andreas Maier GmbH & Friends goes Grand Traversée du Jura 2025! Together with a strong team of cycling enthusiasts, we are taking on the challenge. Just to be clear, this means: 5 days – 270 kilometers – 6,620 meters of altitude. Not an easy tour, but as a team, we can do it. We start in Duggingen in Switzerland on July 3 and finish at Lake Neuchatel. ⛰️🚵♂️   Our Managing Director Hans-Jörg Boltjes is already in full training mode. His motto: “Never underestimate an old man with a mountain bike.” 💪

We have already introduced you to many of our colleagues. But our two “Feel Good Managers” should not be missing: Meet Emmi and Fetz, our office dogs! 🐶 🐶 Emmi is the 3-year-old Labrador dog of Marius Pröll and his wife Annika. But she prefers to hang out in the office of Kristin Boltjes, who never misses a chance to spoil her. Emmi is a typical Labby: playful, loves food and loves people. She greets everyone enthusiastically who comes into the office and is always up for a good laugh. Fetz is much cooler. 😎 The 5-year-old rough-haired dachshund belongs to Anika Diedrich and her husband and is usually out hunting. As this means a lot of action, Fetz enjoys the boring office life all the more. He always looks for the sunniest spot in the office and is simply a relaxed guy. #teamERBO wouldn't be the same without our furry friends. And even if their work performance is not the most efficient one – these two cold snouts always put everyone in a good mood! 🥰

Last week, Taipei, this week Leipzig! 😎 Last week, our Managing Director Moritz Hertfelder went on a business trip to Taiwan, where he visited, amongst other things, the machining trade fair TIMTOS. His mission: meeting existing and potential customers and find out more about the local CNC market. 🔎 The main focus was on our intelligent swarf handling systems. 💡 And the trade fair business continues! From today on, we are at Intec und Zuliefermesse Z in Leipzig, Germany. Visit us in hall 3, booth I04 until Friday. See you there!

Annalena Müller has been with us since last year. She originally applied on her own initiative and when a position became available, we contacted her again.   She is a trained office administrator and previously worked in other sectors. She now works in our sales department and is responsible for ordering and shipping spare parts, for example. She is also responsible for incoming and outgoing invoices and takes calls from customers. 📞   Annalena and her colleagues work quickly – and have to remember a lot. Because every country we ship to has different regulations. 🤯 You have to get to grips with it and, above all, keep an overview. No problem for Annalena!   Like most of the members of #teamERBO, Annalena is a passionate sportswoman (handball 🤾♀️ and skiing ⛷️). What she appreciates most about ERBO is the sense of community. Here, everyone sticks together – whether professionally or privately. We are happy to have you on board, Annalena!

We have another trade fair on the agenda in March - Intec und Zuliefermesse Z an international trade fair for machine tools, manufacturing and automation technology. It is an important showcase for metalworking specialists and an indispensable meeting place for the industry, where ERBO is not to be missed 😎. Hello from the Technology Day 2025 in Leipzig! Together with Mazak Europe, ILT Industrie-Luftfiltertechnik and POLO Filter-Technik Bremen GmbH, we organized an informative day with presentations on the subject of extraction technology and filtration.
