🌐🌏 Come join us for the WCRP Global km-scale Hackathon in Hamburg! 🛟🛳️🪗 From Australia 🇦🇺 to Brazil 🇧🇷, from the UK 🇬🇧 to Japan 🇯🇵 – scientists from all around the world will participate in the World Climate Research Programme #WCRP Global km-Scale #Hackathon from May 12–16.  🤓 The event entails a week of writing code & analyzing data to advance high-resolution #ClimateModeling – involving leading initiatives in this field such as nextGEMS | next Generation Earth Modelling Systems, WarmWorld, Earth Virtualization Engines (EVE), EERIE I European Eddy-Rich Earth System Models, & WCRP Earth System Modelling and Observations (ESMO). 🍒🧁… and the best part is: you don’t even have to travel far, since it is happening at the same time in 10 places (so-called nodes) around the globe.
