"Fresh perspectives can spark powerful change.” Chloe Anderton, MBA has just finished the Global Graduate Accelerator Program at BSH – and it’s precisely her fresh perspective that’s highly valued by Birtan Sert , Head of the Global Development Team in Türkiye. As part of the management team, he wanted to experiment with new strategies to empower his team. That’s why he took part in BSH’s reverse mentoring program – with Chloe as his mentor. This reverse mentoring program has flipped the traditional roles. The more experienced and more senior employee takes the role of the mentee. The mentor is the younger employee with less professional experience, but with new creative solutions. Both sides can learn from the other – understanding generational differences and expectations with an objective of creating an inclusive work environment, regardless of seniority, hierarchy levels, or age. To help young reverse mentors step into their roles, we provide them with training and a handbook. “We would openly discuss ways to motivate, empower, and actively engage the people within his team,” shares Chloe about her experience. Did you know that tomorrow, on March 22nd, is World Water Day? We at #TeamBSH are working to reduce water consumption not just in our products, but also at our factories as well. Many consumers are not yet aware of the great savings' potential that dishwashers offer. With water scarcity being a real problem in many countries, we have set the goal to raise awareness for the huge potential of dishwashers through various means - like our "Care LikeABosch" Campaign, where we focus on concrete and understandable messages: For example, that a dishwasher can save up to 150 liters* of water per wash cycle. At the same time our factories are working on various projects to reduce their water consumption during production, either through technical or organizational improvements.
