  • Efficient and flexibly scalable: Optimize your battery cell production with our intelligent XTS transport system! With the XTS linear transport system, you can transport battery cells at a high cycle rate and cut out time-consuming empty runs against the production flow. The carriers move on a closed circular path and can be controlled individually, resulting in a seamless and efficient production process. Flexible assembly: The XTS can be mounted in any geometry and at any orientation. The XTS can be positioned vertically or horizontally, according to your specific requirements. This gives you the freedom to optimize your production environment. Higher loads and speed: Is your production volume increasing? Positioning the XTS horizontally enables it to transport larger loads and achieve higher speeds and throughput. Be inspired by the possibilities that the XTS has in store for your battery production: https://bit.ly/3E3qKNk #batteryproduction #battery #batterytechnology #batterypack #batterycell #automotive #motorvehiclemanufacturing #automation #industrialautomation #intelligenttransport #beckhoff

  • Discover our distributed drive systems for space-saving and flexible solutions for control cabinet-free machines! Distributed drive technology offers clear benefits: • Smaller footprint: Reduced footprint by eliminating large control cabinets • Reduced cabling: Less installation effort due to fewer cable runs • Modularity: Easier scaling and adaptation to different machine concepts • Direct EtherCAT integration: Real-time communication without additional interfaces Find out more about our concepts for distributed drive technology that can be seamlessly integrated into existing control architectures: https://bit.ly/4jrIKQx Matthias Risse #servodrive #drive #drives #maschinenbau #automatisierung #automation #automationsolutions #industrialautomation #motioncontrol #beckhoff

  • 35 years of Beckhoff at the Hannover Messe This year marked our 35th anniversary as an exhibitor at the Hannover Messe. Our history as an exhibitor at one of the world's most significant industrial exhibitions goes back a long way, almost as long as the company's history itself. On this occasion, we want to look back on Beckhoff's history, which spans almost 45 years. This five-day event in spring has been a fixed part of our calendar and is often internally nicknamed the "Summer Olympics of automation technology" within our company. From this central platform, we present our latest technical innovations and can meet in-person with our customers, business representatives, and politicians from all over the world. When we first exhibited at the Hannover Messe in 1990, our stand totaled an area of 40 square meters. We showcased 15 products, each with its own information sheet. Today, our stand covers 1,300 square meters and is staffed by around 200 colleagues every day. As ever, the most important element is the extremely high technology density. We present our complete product range to visitors in the form of numerous exhibits on our exhibition walls and presentation elements. We have continuously expanded, changed, and optimized our exhibition booth in line with the company's growth and our expanding product diversity. However, much has remained constant over the years. In addition to our legendary booth party (which we held for the 20th time this year), our classic wooden floor, red leather chairs, and high red walls have remained our hallmarks. In this feel-good atmosphere, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and immerse yourself in in-depth technical discussions and our exciting product world. On top of all the technical innovations, the Hannover Messe is also the leading platform; prominent politicians visit us here, year after year. This dialog between the technological and political world is very important to us, because we can only create progress when we work together. The Minister Presidents of the German federal states, heads of government from all over the world, and Dr. Angela Merkel and Olaf Scholz have all been Beckhoff guests, and we have had the pleasure of welcoming many top politicians to our exhibition booth. We're looking forward to coming back to Hanover next year with our latest automation solutions and meeting people from all over the world who are just as enthusiastic about technology as we are! #beckhoff #automation #hm25 #history #anniversary #recap #zeitreise #timetoremember #ajourneythroughtime #exhibitionbooth #exhibitionmemories #thankful #seeyounextyear #customers #politics #guests #innovations #hightech #automationforabetterworld

  • A recap of Hannover Messe Another day full of amazing discussions and valuable inspiration • Our guests from the NRW and Benelux regional associations of the VDMA (Association of German Mechanical and Plant Engineering) discussed the future of machine and system engineering with us. The spotlight was on topics such as AI integration, sustainable technology, and the MX-System as an advanced replacement for the control cabinet. The MX-System not only offers technical advantages; with its simplified installation and maintenance, it also addresses the shortage of skilled workers.   • Groups of students learned about our latest technical highlights and potential career paths at Beckhoff.   • Johannes Beckhoff explained the terminology behind cybersecurity, which is the subject of much discussion, and how the company is proactively adapting to meet the requirements of cybersecure automation systems and products.   You still have two more days to visit us in Hanover! You can find us at Booth F06 in Hall 9: https://bit.ly/41EM8QM If you can't make it, then you don't have to miss out: follow our exhibition highlights in our livestream. We broadcast live every morning up to and including Thursday at 8:30 a.m. (in German) and 10:00 a.m. (in English). • A recap of Hannover Messe There was a lot going on yesterday, from the press conference to the booth party: • In our press conference, Hans Beckhoff and our speakers discussed our new Next multi-touch panel generation and how the AI-assisted engineering workflow revolution is becoming a reality with TwinCAT CoAgent.   • Our executive management team and representatives from Beckhoff Canada had the honor of hosting François Legault, the Canadian Premier of Quebec, and his delegation. This resulted in an exciting exchange on renewable energy, AI, and pioneering automation solutions that can increase productivity for Canadian technology companies. A particular highlight was that Premier Legault personally got to grips with the MX-System and was thus able to try out this innovative technology himself. • In theory and practice: Our MX-System eliminates a previously indispensable machine building component; the control cabinet. Marvin Düsterhus, our product manager, explained how it works in his presentation yesterday as part of the Masterclass program. • Technology presentation by Laurids Beckhoff: Our industry expert presented the Module Type Package (MTP), a trending topic. With modular automation for greenfield and brownfield plants, the MTP concept assures a sustainable hydrogen industry and offers innovative solutions for the process industry.   • We also had something to celebrate: Beckhoff's 20th booth party at the Hannover Messe!   Take advantage of the opportunity to attend our livestream from the comfort of your desk, today and every day of the exhibition up to and including Thursday. We will be broadcasting live every morning in German (8:30 a.m.) and English (10:00 a.m.).
