We were honored to welcome representatives of the US Embassy Prague, Office of Defense Cooperation, to our Centre yesterday! 🤝 It was a great opportunity to showcase our work and discuss potential training opportunities that could benefit both our organizations. During their visit, we also had the chance to observe the impressive open-air chemical agent testing conducted by Kastle at the VVU Military Research Institute. 🚀 The results of this long-term project have had a huge impact in the past on the improvements of the modeling tools we are using, significantly enhancing their precision. 🌟

🌟 The 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 in Doha, Qatar, has officially started today, alongside the education and training facilities exhibitions! 🌟 NATO stakeholders and Partner Nations have come together to strengthen cooperation, enhance interoperability, and drive capability development for a safer and more secure future. We are hosting a joint meeting of two NATO Science & Technology Organization (STO) specialists' groups dedicated to“Surface and Ground Chemical Contamination Detection and Avoidance” and “Realistic Trace Explosive Test Standards for Evaluation of Optical Sensors in Relevant Scenarios”. Representatives from NATO nations and JCBRN Defence COE meet to finalize the Joint Cooperative Demonstration of Technology (CDT) for summer 2025, testing an array of optical and non-optical sensors with 500+ samples interrogating trace levels of contamination on surfaces.
