The vessel #Zhenhua 28 has successfully departed with the fourth batch of #equipment for the #Colombo #East #Terminal in Sri Lanka, carrying three quay cranes and three automated rail-mounted gantry cranes. Throughout the production process, representatives from the Sri Lanka Ports Authority visited #ZPMC’s Changxing Branch several times to track progress and inspect quality. They expressed strong satisfaction with the project’s efficiency and craftsmanship, and issued multiple commendation letters recognizing the team’s outstanding performance.

The first phase of the #Hainan #Yangpu International Container Hub Port Expansion Project has been successfully completed! As part of the project, the first batch of 8 quay cranes and 23 rubber-tyred gantry cranes (#RTGs), manufactured by #ZPMC, have been delivered and put into operation. As a key project in building #Hainan Free Trade Port into an international shipping hub, ZPMC will supply a total of 14 intelligent quay cranes and 42 RTGs tailored specifically for the port. The smart quay cranes feature a twin-girder trolley design with an outreach of 70 meters and a hoisting height of 52 meters—fully capable of handling 200,000-tonne container vessels. The RTGs are equipped with the upgraded 8-rope 2.0 trolley system from ZPMC, offering powerful, lightweight, and highly efficient performance, making them ideal for automated operations. These high-end port machines provided by ZPMC will offer strong technical support for upgrading the port’s capabilities, marking a new chapter in the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Recently, four quay cranes and eight yard cranes, relocated by #ZPMC to Sri Lanka's #Hambantota Port, successfully handled their first 19,000-container operation. In recent years, Hambantota Port's throughput has grown significantly. To quickly deploy 12 port #cranes for commercial operations, ZPMC's project team worked closely together, overcoming challenges like high-voltage power supply and component repairs. They restored the equipment's functionality, enabling the port to welcome its first 3,500-TEU vessel. This upgrade greatly enhances Hambantota Port’s operational efficiency and further strengthens the cooperation between China and Sri Lanka in the field of transportation infrastructure.

With the support, the coastal city of Kribi in southwestern #Cameroon has grown from a small fishing village into a modern, multi-functional seaport. The second phase of the #Kribi terminal continues the development of phase one, using 5 #ZPMC quay cranes, 15 rubber-tyred gantry cranes, and 5 mobile harbor cranes. In southeastern #Gabon, #ZPMC has completed the assembly of a stacker-reclaimer designed for the Moanda stockyard, the country's largest manganese mining area. The machine has now entered the commissioning phase. Meanwhile, another #stacker-#reclaimer, built for Owendo Port—Gabon's largest commercial port—has been operating smoothly for the past three months. To enhance efficiency and reliability, both machines are equipped with advanced automation systems, intelligent lubrication, and automatic fire suppression. With a 40-meter turning radius and a mobile twin-tail carriage, they boast a maximum stacking capacity of 3,000 tonnes per hour and reclaiming capacity of 4,000 tonnes per hour. Designed for stacking, reclaiming, and direct transfer of bulk materials, these systems will play a key role in supporting Gabon's 7-million-tonne manganese export project—further contributing to the global manganese market.

The #Zhenhua 26 recently set sail from #Changxing Base, carrying two quay cranes bound for DP World's Manila terminal in the #Philippines. These cranes feature a 58-meter outreach, 15-meter back reach, 30-meter rail span, and a hoisting height of 44 meters, with a rated load capacity of 65 tonnes under the spreader.
