We are a fast-growing Swiss B2B software and services firm on the mission to support a sustainable global transition to clean energy with geospatial insights. We process geospatial data with machine learning to optimize the efficiency of trading and energy production in hydropower, reducing risk and CO2 pollution in the process. Our first satellite data-powered solution was built with support of the European Space Agency and the Swiss Energy Agency.

Who we look for

We’re looking for a part-time Project Manager (50%) with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proven track-record to join our remote Swiss team during the company’s growth phase. The position is initially focused on key projects over the next 12 months, with a strong expectation of continued opportunities beyond that period on the back of a very strong commercial pipeline. You will be leveraging your experience by working hands-on with the team to manage Wegaw’s projects and delivery with clients and institutions around the globe.

Your responsibilities and tasks

• Manage Wegaw’s project development from initiation to closure.
• Take ownership of ongoing projects with the Swiss government and other European entities.
• Take ownership of ongoing and upcoming commercial projects & delivery including for clients in Turkey, Norway and Canada.
• Implement tools and best practices for internal and external project management, moving Wegaw’s PM methodology and team to the next level.
• Work closely with our Head of Sales, COO and Delivery team to deliver the best possible experience for our clients and stakeholders.

Your experience and skills

•  A minimum of five years of experience in project management. Academic degrees in related field are a plus.
• Extensive experience in project management programs & skills (stakeholder management, budgeting, risk management, etc.).
• Proficiency with industry-standard project management methodologies (PMP, Agile), tools and software.
• Demonstrated experience with client management and internal departmental communications.
• Proven track record of successful project management.
• Background in B2B SaaS, engineering or the energy industry are a big plus.
• Project Management certification preferred.

Personal traits we look for

•  Written and spoken fluency in English is a must. French, Norwegian, German, Turkish and Spanish are a plus.
• Experience in working in a small, fast growing business, including leading and coaching teams.
• Strategic thinking and creative planning. 
• Strong communication skills with an ability to relate to people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
• Team player with an eagerness to learn and grow.
• Self-organized, autonomous, accountable and strongly motivated.
• Proactive and with strong initiative-taking.
