New network announcement: the Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN) launches a new cross-hospital data query tool powered by Tune Insight! Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN) is introducing the Data Exploration and Analysis System (DEAS), poised to transform data-driven research in Switzerland. It offers researchers improved tools for conducting data queries and feasibility studies. This platform will replace the current Federated Query System, which will be discontinued by December 2024. DEAS, developed in collaboration with SPHN and Swiss university hospitals, will enable secure access to aggregated data from Swiss hospitals. Powered by Tune Insight, DEAS complies with the highest levels of data protection, based on state-of-the-art privacy technologies including homomorphic encryption, secure multiparty computation, federated analytics and differential privacy. 💥 We are thrilled to announce that Olivier Siegenthaler, an 11-year Google veteran, is joining Tune Insight as Head of Artificial Intelligence! 🌟 Before joining Tune Insight, Olivier was a Technical Leader at Google, where he worked on Search, Assistant and Gemini, including on LLM safety. Earlier in his career, he also led software development at a startup focused on structuring healthcare data for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. 🎓 Olivier holds a PhD in mathematics from the Georg-August University of Göttingen in Germany, and a MSc in Physics from EPFL in Switzerland. 🚀 We are delighted to welcome Olivier on board our mission to transform the data economy into a more secure insight economy that reconciles the advances of AI with data privacy, to accelerate medical studies and progress towards personalized care.
