Welcome, HB-JDJ! ✈️ 🤩 We welcome our newest Airbus A320neo, HB-JDJ, to Zurich – the 14th aircraft in our ongoing fleet modernization program. Named after the Swiss town of Grenchen, this aircraft represents another step toward a more fuel-efficient and sustainable future. 🌱 SWISS is introducing 25 Airbus A320neo family aircraft ✈️, including 16 A320neo and 9 A321neo, to gradually replace older models. We. Are. Excited! 🤩 💖 Our first Airbus A350 has been freshly painted. The Swiss cross shines on the tail fin, and the five bold letters on the fuselage leave no doubt about which airline this aircraft will be flying for. 🔴 ⚪ HB-IFA proudly displays our classic red and white colors – for now. 🎉 ✨ But there’s more to come! In June, HB-IFA will receive its special livery named 'Wanderlust', flying in this unique design for 18 months before returning to its signature SWISS look. 🛫 #FlySWISS #A350 Airbus Aircraft

🌍 Today is Global Recycling Day! 🌍   Did you know that some of our onboard products are made from recycled materials? On this Global Recycling Day, let's take a look at what our blankets, pillows, and some packaging items are made from.   ♻️ The pillow and blanket fillings in SWISS Business, and the pillow fillings in SWISS Economy, are made from 100% recycled polyester. ♻️ In SWISS Premium Economy, the amenity kit is crafted from used newspapers. ♻️ In SWISS First, the amenity kit is made from recycled PVC, while amenity kits in SWISS Business Outbound are made from recycled polyester. ♻️ For our SWISS Saveurs packaging, we use "Paperwise packaging," made from agricultural waste, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional paper and cardboard. ♻️ Our Valser water bottles are made from 100% recycled PET.   But this is just the beginning! We are constantly working to make more materials sustainable and close the loop.
