The Annual Gathering of the World’s Financial Regulators, Policymakers, Industry Leaders. 5- 7 May 2025 | Zurich
Info
The Point Zero Forum will take place from 5 -7 May in Zurich, Switzerland. The Point Zero Forum is an annual gathering of 2,000 leading central bankers, regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, technologists, and investors from around the world. Over three days of dialogue and collaboration, we work to align policy, finance, and technological roadmaps to advance sustainability, inclusivity, innovation, and efficiency in the global financial ecosystems. Why attend? Uncertainty is here to stay: The Point Zero Forum was designed for financial institutions to remain vigilant and adaptable in a world characterized by geopolitical complexities and rapid technological innovations. Build resilience: The strong community of central bankers, policymakers, industry leaders in finance and technology, investors, innovators, and founders will convene in Zurich in 2025 for the fourth time. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to build resilience and position oneself for success in an unpredictable future. Stay agile and informed: By embracing change and developing agile strategies, the financial industry can turn challenges into opportunities. Maintaining long-term value visions during times of volatility requires the ability to quickly respond to geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and technological advancements. Take the role of the creator: Unlike other events, the Point Zero Forum focuses on fostering dialogue among global leaders across various sectors. The Forum enables participants to connect, forge new partnerships, and shape the future of the industry. Seize the opportunity to position yourself at the forefront and leave followers behind. Organised by the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) and GFTN, a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

We’re thrilled to share that Dr. Alessandro Curioni is returning for #PZF2025! Last year, he shared insights at the Forum Stage during the session "𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠" alongside Kelly Richdale, Dr. Philip Intallura Ph.D, and Sopnendu Mohanty. Here are three key takeaways from his session: 1️⃣ The Synergy of AI and Quantum Computing: The convergence of AI and quantum computing has the potential to exponentially transform industries, unlocking new levels of efficiency and innovation. 2️⃣ Building a Quantum Program in Large Organisations: Establishing a successful quantum computing program requires strategic planning and a focus on collaboration across teams to effectively implement cutting-edge technologies. 3️⃣ The Evolving Role of Quantum Computing in Financial Services: Quantum computing is already shaping the future of financial services, offering new opportunities for innovation and future-proofing strategies in the sector. 🔙 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 #GFJ2025 🔙 On the #GFJ2025 stage, Elise Soucie Watts brought energy and insight, discussing the challenges of stablecoin regulation in a US$200 billion market alongside Peter Goodrich and Rahul Advani. She explored how restrictive local regulations could impact the global benefits of stablecoins and the importance of balancing global fungibility with local frameworks. 3 key points from the session: 1️⃣ Stablecoin Regulatory Challenges: Balancing consumer protections with the global benefits of stablecoins is becoming increasingly complex, especially with emerging localisation requirements in major jurisdictions. 2️⃣ Impact of Restrictive Regulations: Overly restrictive local regulations could undermine the core benefits of stablecoins, such as cross-border fungibility, uniform valuation, and economic competitiveness. 3️⃣ Global Coordination for Digital Hubs: Jurisdictions aiming to become digital asset hubs must enable a variety of stablecoins backed by high-quality assets, including those issued overseas, under strong supervisory coordination. Catch her this time in Zurich at #PZF2025 as she delves into Global State of Digital Asset Regulations: Regulatory Harmonisation on Digital Assets.
