Who are we looking for:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic accounting professional to join our team as the Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership abilities, and the expertise to oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department. We are looking for someone who is results-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving financial excellence.


What you will do:

As the Accounting Manager, you will take charge of the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the smooth functioning of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, assist with budgeting, and lead a team of accountants. Additionally, you will monitor compliance, prepare for audits, analyze financial performance, and ensure tax filings are accurate and timely.

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and assist with budgeting.
  • Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
  • Coordinate the preparation for audits and assist external auditors during their review.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and recommend improvements to financial performance.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Collaborate with related parties and manage inter-company reports.
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare variance analysis reports for management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting accounting practices.
  • Handle tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.


What do you Need to Succeed

To succeed in this role, you should have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • US experience will be an added advantage or preferred.
