“It is a privilege and an honour to know Monica Olinescu. Monica spent three incredible years at Animikii and throughout that time she became a key member of our team. She was the Technical Lead and Senior Developer ensuring maintenance, development and support for our largest (Ruby on Rails) software project called San’yas, an online Indigenous Cultural Safety training course platform. During her time with us, 70,000 health professionals acquired cultural safety certification through San’yas. A monumental accomplishment that will have ripple effects in providing Indigenous safety in the healthcare system for generations to come. She expressed Animikii’s core values (Humility, Truth, Honesty, Wisdom, Respect, Courage and Love) daily. We will miss her greatly.”
