  • This morning, an open letter from 14 CEOs was delivered to the leaders of Canada's four political parties. Whitecap's President & CEO, Grant Fagerheim was one of the signatories. As Canadians, we are at an inflection point to defend our sovereignty, improve our economic competitiveness and collective prosperity, and play a role in the world’s increasing demand for all forms of energy. At Whitecap, we are very fortunate to be able to contribute to meeting the energy needs of North Americans and have a positive impact on the standard of living for all Canadians.   Now that we will be the 7th largest producer in Canada we have both the benefit and the obligation to be a leader in the advancement of our energy sector’s position within Canada and on the global stage. The letter outlines very real and pragmatic solutions to strengthen Canada’s economic sovereignty, increase our prosperity, and contribute to the growing need for energy around the world. The letter outlines a clear plan with five calls for action. Read the letter here: https://lnkd.in/giZqPqBa
