Can Viggle enhance Runway's V2V for character consistency? I put it to the test! So, last week I had shared my first Runway restyled first frame V2V test where the selfie-style video came out great. Character consistency was on point. Style transfer looked solid. But then I tried more complex camera movements, and… well, the character's features started morphing heavily. That got me thinking. Could Viggle be the key to fixing this? Here’s what I tried: THE GOAL ↳ See if Viggle could stabilise character consistency in shots with tricky camera moves ↳ Try and stitch together longer takes from 20-second V2V clips ↳ Basically, push V2V towards that long-take, full-control dream ↳ I chose a post-apocalyptic setting in honour of the Last of Us Season 2 releasing soon THE PROCESS 01. Shot my one-take on my iPhone 02. Used Viggle for character transfer 03. Magnific to create restyled first frame 04. Runway V2V (in 20-second chunks) 05. Editing to stitch it all together THE RESULTS + Viggle’s character replacement? Actually pretty solid. = Runway’s V2V? Character still morphing a bit, but better with Viggle’s help. - They both struggled with the mirror towards the end of the video. Not ready for serious production use, but directionally exciting. My dream is real actors, dynamic shots, and seamless AI character/style transformations. We’re not there yet, but we’re getting closer. I’m stoked about where V2V is headed. 👍 Like if you found this useful ♻ Share if your network needs this ➕ Follow for more GenAI filmmaking insights #aifilmmaking
