The Vancouver Post Alliance (VPA) is a non-profit association established for the benefit and representation of the Post Production industry in British Columbia, Canada. The VPA is dedicated to serving professionals and companies that provide Post Production services and/or technology. The VPA is also a great resource for students who are seeking employment in the Post Production industry. The VPA encourages competitive business practices within the BC Post Production industry and is competitive with Post Production jurisdictions worldwide. The VPA will leverage its neutral positioning to promote cooperation amongst stakeholders and maintain a healthy, growing and globally competitive Post Production industry in British Columbia. The brothers throw the monkey away and move on, growing apart over the years. This month's featured member, Editor / Motion Graphics Designer Max Bentsianov, has worked in the post-production industry for 15 years. A graduate of Emily Carr University, Max has always been passionate about film and visual storytelling. He draws inspiration from movie greats such as David Lynch and Lars von Trier, and would love to work on a surreal, poetry-infused film like Mirror by Tarkovsky, Antichrist by Lars von Trier or Mulholland Drive by David Lynch. He is also interested in series oriented towards social critique such as Black Mirror or Clockwork Orange. Max pursues many interests such as music learning and production, reading, writing, watching movies, attending concerts, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
