Canadians: If your upcoming travel plans include Canadian destinations outside your home province, make sure you are covered by travel insurance. Your GHIP offers very limited coverage in the case of an emergency.

CBC/Radio-Canada’s ‘The Current’ has launched the Canadian Bucket List. Nominate a city or town as a must-visit destination this summer. If you’re a travelling Canadian, your provincial health insurance plans may not cover certain medical expenses, such as air and ground ambulance costs, prescription drugs, and dental emergencies when you visit another province.
