🌊 Riding Waves of Wisdom at the Women In Tech Regatta! 🚣♀️ What an incredible experience participating in the panel "Boomers to Gen Z: Who's Holding Us Back…and Who's Got Our Back?" at last week's WiT Regatta Gala! 💫 At the end, the key takeaway was that generational divides are constructs. Someone, somewhere, decided that different generations were to be named and separated by stereotypes. We've been haunting the startup realm instead of the usual abandoned mansions for just over a year now, and we've learned something truly annoying: Everything you want is just on the other side of fear. We know this because - as ghosts - fear and frights are kind of our jam. But once you push past the 586 cold-emails from recruiters, unfinished grant applications - and occasional ancient, cosmic, world-eating, tentacled horror — we have found the statement to be true! And just because you may be a tiny ghost, doesn't mean you can’t terrify the fabric of reality itself — or, you know, build a narrative game engine that brings nightmares (and dreams I guess 🤷♂️), to life through hauntingly beautiful art and interactivity. It seems that sometimes the scariest thing you can do is follow your dreams. 🎃 Happy Halloween from your favorite story-weaving specters!
