Pipelines are the backbone of Canada’s energy industry, ensuring safe and efficient transportation across all types of terrain. But not all pipelines are the same. There are five main types, with each serving a distinct role in entire network. ▪️ Flow Lines – These relatively small and short pipes move raw products, like crude oil and natural gas liquids, from well-pads to gathering pipelines. ▪️ Gathering Pipelines – These are a bit longer, and they are used to collect and transport materials from several sites to processing facilities or storage. ▪️ Feeder Pipelines – Larger on average than flow or gathering pipes, these transport refined products such as produced oil or natural gas to the next phase of network. ▪️ Transmission Pipelines – The largest type of pipeline, these can be up to four feet in diameter and run for hundreds of kilometres – sometimes across provincial or international borders. They carry materials from feeder lines to centralized processing facilities for further refinement. ▪️Distribution Pipelines – As the last part of the network, these lines can vary from half an inch to two feet in diameter. They carry final products like gasoline, diesel, natural gas, or even jet fuel to their destination. There’s a lot more to learn about how all these different pieces work together. Improving recycling practices is one of the simplest, most effective ways to operate environmentally. By reducing the amount of waste we put into landfills, we create a cleaner planet by default. On World Recycling Day, we at SureLine renew our pledge to continually review our operations and office management to maximize recycling opportunities wherever possible. #GlobalRecyclingDay

Women are integral to SureLine’s performance at every level. And with over a third of the oil and gas workforce in Canada being female, too, their impact on our wider sector is significant. On International Women’s Day, we’d like to say a thank you to every female member of our team, and to encourage the next generation of girls coming up behind them to consider joining our field. It’s tough – but very rewarding. #IWD2025 #InternationalWomensDay

Our enduring partnership with the Halfway River First Nation is one of our proudest and most successful relationships. As a symbol of our mutual bonds, we were honoured to donate a painting that features the sadly recently deceased Nation elder Jeffrey Metecheah to the Nation over the holiday season. We hope it helps the Nation keep Jeffrey’s memory alive for generations to come.

Everyone talks about the importance of diet on the performance of professional athletes. But on a busy day, our crews can burn through just as many calories as an NFL linebacker, if not more. Some crew favorites include apples, chips, protein bars, protein shakes, and beef jerky. Our Fabrication Yard team has a sweet tooth and balances these energy-fueling snacks with the occasional donut, cupcake or candy treat! They're also never far from their Timmies! #NationalSnackFoodMonth
