For some individuals, traditional job application procedures may not always be the most effective. Imagine interviewing people in whatever language THEY prefer? Depending on the role, this might be the perfect option to offer your job candidates! In a country like Canada, this would be an incredible statement of inclusiveness in the hiring process. Also, great for validating bilingual candidates language abilities. #languageinclusion

February 2024 vs November 2024. We managed to strip down the candidate interview experience to a single interactive UI element - "The Button"! Depending on the interview state it will perform different actions - for example, "Start Recording", "Finish Recording", or animating to bring the AI responses to life Except for form inputs / file uploads / multiselect questions during interviews, candidates will only interact with a single button now. And we're still working on simplifying it more to guide candidates to present their best selves. In an ideal world, we would only need 0 buttons :) The UX journey has been fascinating. Having candidates volunteer to let us watch them use our product gave awesome insights into how they naturally expect things to work. Sometimes they would explicitly tell us, but a lot of the time we noticed behavioral patterns indicating our old UX was trash #ux
