The Oneida team welcomed President and CEO, Christine Healy for a tour of our 250 MW/1,000 MWh battery energy storage project in Ontario, Canada where 278 megapack batteries are in the final stages of commissioning. With our eyes set on the finish line, and strong partners Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation, Aecon Group Inc., NRStor Inc. and Mississaugas of the Credit Business Corporation by our side, we’re nearing commercial operations on Canada’s first energy storage facility. The first transition pieces (TPs) have been successfully installed at the Baltic Power offshore wind farm! These steel constructions will connect foundations with the towers of wind turbines. Each one measures over 20 meters and weights approx. 350 tones. We will install 78 of such elements (76 for turbines and 2 for offshore substations). 📰 For more information on the installation campaign check our website via link in the comments section.
