Great reminder for every day! Be safe while on the job and off.
We’d like to take a moment to share a powerful statement from Michael Coteau, MP in the House of Commons, emphasizing the importance of the Electrical Injury Day of Recognition. It is a day that serves as a vital reminder of the risks associated with electrical work and the need for enforced safety protocols to protect ourselves and communities.

October 6, 2024, is Electrical Injury Awareness Day. Exposure to electric shock has unfortunately been common since the invention of electricity. The immediate effects were known, but there was no awareness of the potential long-term consequences. Research shows that a complex injury can develop after receiving an electric shock. Sometimes, the results of this injury are delayed for months and even years. It's important to be aware of the risks. To Learn more and help spread awareness visit https://www.ecaa.ab.ca

Today, we commemorate Sisters in Spirit Day. Canadians will come together to honor the memory of the thousands of Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people who have been missing or murdered. Let's offer support to the families and friends who are grieving their loss. 💔 As a nation, we must add our voices to the call for action to end the ongoing violence experienced by Indigenous communities and provide support for justice and healing. 🧡 🕯 #MMIWG2S #NoMoreStolenSisters #SISVigils To learn more about Sisters In Spirit Day. https://lnkd.in/gnpJB9GH
