Leduc County Council passed first reading of a borrowing bylaw to finance a significant capital road project with the reconstruction of Glen Park Road, between Range Road 263, Highway 795, between Highway 778 and Highway 39, and between Range Road 251 to Highway 2. This bylaw comes back Council, April 22, for second and third reading consideration. If passed, this debenture would be between the municipality and the Government of Alberta for a period up to 15 years, based on terms and conditions outlined in the draft bylaw. A copy of the proposed bylaw is available for review at Leduc County Centre from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; it can also be viewed at https://lnkd.in/gSindMnH

Participating in a public hearing includes in-person presentations and/or through written submissions. The March 25, 2025 (1:45 p.m.) hearing has two key deadlines approaching should anyone wish to take part: - March 11 – to submit a written comment - March 20 – to pre-register to make a presentation to Leduc County Council This hearing will cover application TA25-0001 to amend the County’s Land Use Bylaw 7-08.
