About us

At Kids & Company, we’re passionate about providing a dynamic and engaging early learning experience that’s centered around our emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. Our proprietary programs—Alpha-Mania (pre-literacy and early reading), Mini Masters (art), and Munchkinetics (movement)—are thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, self-expression, coordination, and most importantly, fun. We take pride in incorporating sign language in our infant and toddler rooms, and our well-rounded curriculum includes music, French, science, exploration, and creative play, all aimed at fostering holistic child development. In our Kidco Kitchen, we serve fresh, nutritious meals daily, prepared by a dedicated chef and nutritionist. Our family-style dining approach empowers children to make their own food choices, helping them develop valuable self-help skills. At Kids & Company, we’re committed to nurturing every aspect of your child’s growth, providing an early learning experience that’s truly one of a kind.

Updates

  • Most companies weren’t built with working families in mind. We built one that was. Kids & Company began at the kitchen table of Victoria Sopik, CEO & Co-Founder, and has since grown into one of the largest childcare networks in North America, On April 8th, Victoria will be joining journalist and CTV News anchor Marcia MacMillan for a fireside chat at the Top 25 Women of Influence+ Awards Luncheon in Toronto at the Toronto Region Board of Trade. For over a decade, the Top 25 Awards have spotlighted women leading meaningful shifts in business, policy, science, and culture. Victoria is honoured to contribute to that conversation this year. Tickets are going fast — be sure to get yours today! https://lnkd.in/g7HY8tVT

  • “We have always led the way in providing true flexibility for working parents. As a mother of eight, I understood firsthand that what parents needed most was support that adapted to their busy lives. While many childcare centres charged steep late fees, we took a different approach: no penalties for unexpected delays. We believed parents shouldn’t have to worry about financial consequences due to a snowstorm or a late train. Our priority has always been to make families feel valued and supported, ensuring their children are well cared for—no questions asked. Flexibility isn't just a policy here; it’s the foundation of how we do business.” - Victoria Sopik, CEO Kids & Company

Award-winning entrepreneur | Industry innovator | Mother of eight | CEO and Co-founder, Kids & Company

In the early 2000s, I set out to revolutionize the childcare industry. With a passion for children and for business, I saw a way to bring those two things together and to make some critical improvements. From partnering with corporations to eliminating waitlists, Kids & Company has disrupted the standard practice in Canada. Offering access to Kids & Company as an employee perk has helped our corporate partners support work-life balance, reduce absenteeism, and attract top talent. Guaranteed childcare and flexibility gives parents peace of mind as they grow their careers. I feel privileged to have built this business alongside an amazing team, enabling these benefits for countless companies, families, teachers, and children. My commitment is to care for your kids like I care for my own. As a mom, I know how invaluable that reassurance is, and I’m proud that we uphold that promise every day.

What a great evening we had with some of our Kids & Company corporate partners at Toronto International Film Festival, seeing the premiere of Better Man - for anyone not familiar with Robbie Williams, he went from UK teen idol to the song we can’t get out of our heads, Angels (https://lnkd.in/gdx_-pax). The movie was incredible - but even better was being able to chat with our corporate partners throughout the evening. We are honoured to partner with TIFF and provide high-quality child care to industry delegates attending the festival.
