The European Space Agency (ESA Connectivity and Secure Communications) has selected Kepler as the prime contractor to lead development of the low Earth orbit segment of the High Throughput Optical Network (HydRON) program! Kepler will collaborate with ESA to leverage The Kepler Network to achieve ESA’s goal of delivering ‘fibre in the sky’ optical technology, and demonstrate a high capacity, low latency data transport system in low Earth orbit.
