Day 1 of the MUSEUMS CANADA / MUSEES CANADA Summit complete ✅️ I was pleased to join like-minded colleagues in the museum world for a CEO & Director Round Table. Many Civic Partners from Calgary in attendance and was a productive discussion with peers from across Canada 🇨🇦 Great friend that I look up to with ultimate respect, and I consider very much a mentor of mine, Lindsey Galloway, President and CEO, led the day and is hosting the conference at Heritage Park Historical Village 👏 Also great to see Andrew Mosker, President and CEO of the National Music Centre, that I very much admire and respect 😀 I look forward to the next few days of the conference and hosting tomorrow's evening reception at The Hangar Flight Museum ✈️ If you are one of those who likes to zoom in on photos, yes, Brian is sporting a black eye, lost the battle with a moving box and handrail lol! Anyone that asks, I say "I'm fighting the good fight for The Hangar!" Shout out to my oldest daughter who said "Dad, you can't go like that!" and brought out her make-up - concealer - she called it 😀 Oh, another shout out to Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South for top-notch facilities and service for Day 1 👏
