Halton Women's Place is currently accepting nominations to fill positions on the Board of Directors, to commence in September 2025. This is an extraordinary opportunity for individuals who are passionate about Halton Women's Place mission to provide a safe haven, information, and education to support a future without abuse for women and their children. The Board of Directors is a 10-member Board and each Director is elected annually to hold office for one term of three consecutive years with an option to continue for a second term. At this time, given the population we serve and the current composition of our Board, we are seeking a new female Board Member who lives in the Halton Region, and who will bring excellence and experience in financial acumen, corporate governance, and regulatory and public policy.
