CONTROVERSIAL TAKE: if you think you need to lower your price to move the needle on your service or product then you probably haven't learned to convey the value and you think price actually matters (it rarely matters, unless you're selling a commodity.) That being said, I friggin love Christmas and we want to give more than we take. We came up with our first ever official sale. I actually was inspired by a story my midwife told me and my wife about a road trip they did with their young kids across the country. They started the road trip with a giant bag of candy and every time one of their kids would complain or ask if they were there yet, they would grab a handful of candy and chuck it out the window. They would get to keep whatever was left in the candy bag when they got to their destination. I love that. It inspired me to come up with this sale idea. It's literally not the same at all though. Basically you start at 40% off today and every day you hesitate, you lose 2%. Any new client can sign up and take advantage and the sooner they do, the more they save. I don't think it'll actually make a difference in our sales, but I think it's fun. Ask Santa for Metamucil this Christmas and experience the joy of a clear sales pipeline.
