Leaf and yard waste public drop-off is now open for the season at 112 Patton Street. Please note that the drop-off area has been relocated within the property. Residents are now asked to place their bags in the large bays located at the back of the site. To help keep things running smoothly, please place bags as far back in the bay as possible. This helps maximize space and reduce the need for frequent pickups. Refer to the map for the updated drop-off location on site.

Join us on April 14 at City Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as we mark the day in 1925 that we were officially granted City status by the Ontario legislature. As part of the celebration, we’ll be giving away 100 tree seedlings, encouraging residents to plant something today that will continue to grow for the next century—just like our community. There will also be display booths, centennial cookies, and a giant birthday card to sign. A variety of other community centennial events will take place throughout the year, including in a larger celebration in August, marking our incorporation and the 1925 presentation of North Bay’s city charter.
