On April 17, 1985, the equality rights provisions of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms came into force. On Equality Day, we remind everyone that gender equality is the backbone of a strong economy–fair wages, flexible affordable child care, and safe and affordable housing make life better, not only for SETT workers, but for everyone. Feminist policies are good for the economy–period. This election, take the pledge to demand better at demandbettertoday.ca #DemandBetterToday #Election2025
