We are thrilled to announce the successful go-live of SmartBag with British Airways at their hub Heathrow across Terminals 3 and 5! The British Airways operation at Heathrow is one of the most complex of any international carrier, with over 350 flights and an average of 50,000 bags per day. SmartBag will modernize baggage operations by delivering end-to-end baggage reconciliation, tracking, and recovery. This solution optimizes bag room and ramp performance, enhances on-time departures, and reduces mishandled baggage – driving greater efficiency and passenger experiences. Delivered as a fully managed service, this project includes both software and hardware, along with a comprehensive support plan onsite in partnership with ESP Global Services that provides rapid issue resolution. This ensures that BA and LHR can focus on their day-to-day business operations while Brock manages and maintains the system.
