Blackrock Automation was founded in 2010 by Kevin Heller as a means of providing an elite level of development, integration, service and customer support for varied areas of oil and gas production. This goal is met or exceeded with the work ethic, experience and execution provided by all employees at Blackrock Automation. Since our inception, we have expanded our service offering to various industries such as Wastewater, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Construction, Municipalities, among others. We are a growing company with focus on service and all sizes of construction or upgrade projects. We are currently fully insured in North America and actively working in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, North Dakota, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana, New Mexico, Mexico and Africa. We have strategically placed personnel across North America in order to meet all of our customer’s needs. We have the flexibility to work with engineering groups and the safety accreditation to also work directly for the end user.

Blackrock is always striving to be ahead of the curve in a variety of industries. See the below example of our innovative solution to tackle new environmental regulations being implemented in BC and soon making their way to Alberta. Cities in the lower mainland of BC have developed a bylaw for real-time water quality monitoring and control. Each city has their own terminology for the bylaw. City of Coquitlam for example calls it "The City's Stream and Drainage System Protection bylaw". This is a provincial recommendation and has been adopted by many cities and municipalities and is being looked at by the Alberta government with expectation to be instituted in 2026. Blackrock has been with working some local ESC vendors in the lower mainland (Veri-Flow Inc. and NCS Fluid Management) to develop a dedicated package for this purpose along with the monitoring aspect. Monitoring consists of redundant cellular routers reporting data to redundant Canadian Data Center cloud servers to provide real-time data, historical data, trending, alarming, reporting and callout functionality. The features of the monitoring are discharge flow rate with totalization, recycle flow rate with totalization, sample stream flow rate with totalization, pH level, Turbidity and rain sensor level. The system is also tied to the City's rain gauge system to trigger heavy rainfall event management. Please reach out to learn more!

I just finished my last Monobob race of 2024. I have raced on three tracks so far this season and at each track I have either tied or broken the start record. My driving consistency leaves some to be desired but I can look back and be really proud of how much I have improved and how well I have been physically performing. Just finished up two monobob races in Park City, Utah - both days a set a new start record and track record - I lowered the start record from 5.50 to 5.44 then to 5.42 and the track record from 51.27 to 51.24 and then to 51.17.
