Happy Norooz from BDP Quadrangle🌸💐🌷🌺 Last week, we had the joy of celebrating Norooz at our studio, welcoming the Iranian New Year 1404! The celebration was filled with delicious traditional Iranian food, a live musical performance, and a deeper look into the rich history and traditions of Norooz. For over 3,000 years, Nowruz has been a time of reflection and celebration across Iran, Central Asia, and beyond. Rooted in traditions that symbolize new beginnings, the holiday brings families and communities together through spring cleaning, festive meals, and gift-giving. A key part of the celebration is the Haft-Seen, a beautifully arranged table with seven symbolic items—each representing rebirth, prosperity, health, love, joy, and wisdom. These respectively include sprouted grains (sabzeh), sweet pudding (samanu), dried fruits (senjed), vinegar (serkeh), apples (seeb), sumac (somāq), and garlic (seer).
