Let’s be honest… if you asked 10 people how they feel about e-Learning, at least 11 would say it’s dull, annoying, and a total chore to complete. 💤🤣 That’s why I joined Chilled Pubs last June, to tackle that exact issue! Why does e-Learning have to be so… serious just because it’s for work? Why can’t it be as slick as a brand deck or as funny as the videos you binge on TikTok and YouTube? Challenge accepted. 💪 Armed with industry-leading software (yes, Absorb Software, I’m looking at you 👀), a vision, the strategic genius of Chris Wilkinson 🧠✨, the talented Alex Morris 🤩, a company not afraid to stand-out and be bold enough to do things differently… we built something really special! 🎉 🦙 Introducing the Alpaca Academy! 🎉 🦙 Not your typical ‘compliance-and-click-next e-Learning’. This was built from the ground up celebrating Chilled Pubs people and the Chilled Pubs way, all while helping team members get up to speed faster, with plenty of mucking around thrown in. Requested by our team ✅. Built alongside our team ✅. Specially for our team ✅. Logging in feels more like opening YouTube to watch your favourite channel, except… you’re greeted by your colleagues mispronouncing words 🎙️, pretending to get electrocuted ⚡, whipping up 5-star dishes 🍛, and shaking up funky cocktails🍹. Combining animation, graphic design, Chilled Pubs people, interactions, company branding, and quizzes, we’ve made e-learning something you actually want to do. And guess what? It’s working! 🚀 With just over 400 user accounts, we’ve had just under 3,000 logins in the first few weeks. That’s proof e-Learning doesn’t have to be boring and with the right approach, can be so much more! The Alpaca Academy is fun, engaging and relevant, but most importantly… it’s Chilled. 🌟🦙 1️⃣ Huge thanks to the team members who were willing to be on camera! 2️⃣ Huge thanks to Chris Wilkinson for bringing me on-board, trusting me to get the job done, for your guidance and for giving me this fantastic opportunity. 3️⃣ Huge thanks to Chilled Pubs for giving me a platform to spread my wings, for daring to be different, for caring so much about your people and for having the vision! Feeling very grateful. 🙏 Oh, and just in case I didn’t mention it… we launched the system across the entire business without a single issue. 💁♂️ Yep, you heard that right… smooth sailing all the way ⛵️. This has been such an incredible experience… one I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute of.
