This support begins as soon as their journey as new parents starts, sometimes even from the beginning of pregnancy. How? Through weekly meetings between the family and a volunteer, forming a supportive team. The volunteer, known as a team member, visits the family every week for a full year to help with administrative tasks, share experiences, alleviate loneliness, or simply offer a listening ear, much like a good neighbor would. Many childcare facilities have closed, worsening the situation, and 10,000 non-subsidized places are at risk due to financial instability. Impactoo advocates for an innovative, financially viable funding solution. Their project aims to halt the loss of childcare places and create a framework for new facilities, combining private sector efficiency with public sector quality guarantees. Ultimately, BB Welcome’s goal is to ensure that the largest possible number of parents can access quality childcare for their children aged 0-3. Each winning project will not only receive funding, but also tailored support in areas such as fundraising, partnership development and visibility, in collaboration with Make.org Foundation. The unveiling took place at a kids-friendly event at the SOMA Foundation, welcoming insights from Topspreker.be Stijn Baert. 𝐋’𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐏𝐅 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 2025 🌟   We are thrilled to announce that Association L'BURN - Les BURN'ettes is the winner of the seventh edition of the DPF Award! 🏆 Through the 𝐃𝐏𝐅 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, the Degroof Petercam Foundation selects and finances Europe’s most ambitious systemic social innovations for sustainable employment. Annually, one winning organization receives a donation of one million euros and tailored support for five years. In addition, the finalists, The Tipping Point in Education, Mozaïk RH / Fondation Mozaïk, Vollpension are each granted 50 000 euros. 🌟 Association L'BURN - Les BURN'ettes was founded in 2019 by Anne-Sophie VIVES after having experienced burn-out herself. The French non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting and guiding people experiencing burn-out, with the aim of facilitating their social and professional reintegration. In Belgium, burnout continues to be on the rise. According to the figures in 2024, the number of work incapacities due to burnout or depression increased by 43% between 2017 and 2022.
