A wonderful day at Seven Camp Demo Day in Brussels! 🌟 Our CEO, David Jacob, attended the Seven Camp Demo Day event, a project from our esteemed member Seven Seed. The event showcased 13 innovative startups from Ukraine across sectors such as Cybersecurity, Media, Drones, Fintech, SmartCity, and other Dual-Use technologies. The event attracted significant attention from European investors, industry stakeholders, and strategic procurement bodies, demonstrating the startup’s potential to scale and impact the European market significantly. Attendees had the opportunity to witness compelling pitch presentations from each startup and explore potential networking opportunities, facilitating connections between innovators and stakeholders. A special thank you and congratulations go to Seven Camp for having us and organising such a nice pitch session! The atmosphere was incredibly dynamic, with European investors, industry representatives, and strategic procurement bodies actively engaging with the startups to discuss collaboration opportunities.🚀 We express our sincere gratitude to the organizers for such a wonderful event, as well as to the investors, partners, and participants for their support and interest. At the Ukrainian Civil Society Hub at the European Parliament, our mission is to support initiatives and projects that aid Ukraine and its people. Over the past two years, we have assisted dozens of organizations in their creative, informational, and educational endeavors. Each successful project brings immense joy and fulfillment to my heart. One of the recent exhibitions that we hosted at the Ukrainian Civil Society Hub was (In)visible Stories. This exhibition brings to light the experiences of nine individuals from southern and eastern Ukraine. It tells the tales of Ukrainians who fled their homes under attack, underwent abuse, and in some instances, endured captivity and torture to survive. The stories are accompanied by photographs of the items these individuals managed to take with them before evacuating: a hat and scarf knitted in their temporarily occupied hometown, a piece of jewelry that was nearly destroyed at a checkpoint, a note from a close friend who stayed behind, and more. Recently, the Kaivalya team, in collaboration with Ukrainian Voices Refugee Committee and the Ukrainian Civil Society Hub , hosted the inaugural international conference dedicated to addressing the challenges of preserving mental health amidst the impact of war. We were honored to have Oksana Zbitneva, Head of the Coordination Center for Mental Health of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukrainе as well as a representative from the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency Alphonse Munyaneza join us in endorsing this initiative. We believe that a systemic approach can effect change, and we aspire for this conference to mark the inception of an international mental health platform.
