Each lab used different approaches for policy testing, such as foresight, scenario development, speculative design, or other collaborative techniques. 🟣 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 On the 1st and 2nd of April, more than 25 project members, labs representatives and local citizens gathered in Östersund 🇸🇪 for a simulation exercise aiming to test approaches for #resilience policy design. The activity took part at the Mid Sweden University’s Risk and Crisis Research Centre (RCR) Simulation Lab. During the activity, a fictional city was presented and a severe weather crisis was simulated ⛈️🏙️🚒 Based on this simulation, participants engaged in a study to test different factors involved in the policymaking process and the valorisation of knowledge for enhanced societal resilience.
