Today, the European Parliament approved the "Stop-the-Clock" proposal to delay sustainability reporting under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) ✅ The approved proposal will: -Delay sustainability reporting obligations for companies, including SMEs, by 2 years -Give EU Member States one more year to implement the CSDDD -Extend the first compliance deadline for the largest companies in the scope of the text by one year ➡️ Next steps: The Council's formal approval and the publication of the Directive in the Official Journal of the European Union EUROLAB is actively involved in sustainability issues through our Sustainability WG: https://lnkd.in/e96DPj9x EURAMET - The European Association of National Metrology Institutes IMEKO - International Measurement Confederation Eurachem ALPI Associazione ASSOTIC HellasLab .
