Result-based interventions are considered strategic to achieve EU environment and climate targets. But what is a result-based intervention, and what is not? And how can Member States assess the added value of these interventions to achieve environmental objectives? Costas Apostolopoulos and Guillaume Pierre, from the Evaluation Helpdesk, presented an overview of the Results-Based interventions already included in the CAP Strategic Plans of Nine Member States. Indicators should be understandable, measurable, and sensitive to agricultural management changes but stable over time to reduce risks for farmers.
