In case you missed it: ETN Global launches a new #CCUS Working Group As part of our AGM & Workshop 2025 in Bergen, we officially launched our NEW #CarbonCapture, Utilisation & Storage (CCUS) Working Group — which will support ongoing efforts to advance carbon capture deployment through cross-sector collaboration. 👥 CCUS Working group will be chaired by: Jens Walter, BASF and David Peralta-Solorio, Uniper CCUS Working Group will focus on: ✅ Creating a database of current and completed projects with the CAPEX and OPEX ✅ Assessing combined cycle gas turbine (#CCGT) efficiency penalties when fitted with CCS. ✅ Creating a dedicated database of CCS–gas turbine projects to share knowledge and best practices. ✅ Supporting a project on “Uncovering the economic tipping point between #hydrogen-based GTs and CCS-enhanced GTs.” ✅ Producing a report on optimal CO₂ transportation strategies for CCS-GT applications. ✅ Continuing with CCS webinar series to foster open dialogue, share lessons learned, and promote #collaboration. Industry leaders drive #CCUS and #Hydrogen expansion at Bergen meeting On 25 March 2025, industry leaders from Equinor, TotalEnergies and BASF gathered in Bergen, Norway, to discuss how to accelerate the deployment of #carboncapture, utilisation, and storage (#CCUS) and #hydrogen technologies. Organised by ETN Global, the meeting took place ahead of our Annual General Meeting & Workshop and exclusive site visits, organised by Equinor to: ✅ Northern Lights JV – a pioneering CO₂ transport and storage project ✅ Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM) – the world’s most advanced CCS test facility Key takeaways from the discussions: 🔹 #Collaboration is key – cross-sector efforts are essential to scaling these technologies 🔹 Addressing challenges – technical, regulatory, and economic barriers must be tackled together 🔹 Action-driven approach – #innovation and practical solutions are essential.
