Let us tell you the story: Once upon a time, during the sweltering summer of 1858, London was suffering. It was The Great Stink 💩😳 Yes! that is the actual historical name for a time when the river Thames became so clogged with waste it is was a breeding ground for deadly diseases, like cholera! And the pungent smell permeating London was so overpowering it even shut down Parliament! Amid the chaos, cue our visionary hero—Joseph Bazalgette—who saved the day by designing the 💡𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦💡 Bazalgette designed a system to solve the current and future sewerage problems in London. In doing so he laid the groundwork—literally—for modern wastewater infrastructure, saved countless lives in the process, and allowed for London to develop into the metropolis it is today.   At Aliaxis, we love plumbers! And not just plumbers from video games out to rescue Princess Peach—we mean ALL plumbers! 🎮 And plumbers around the world, in very different contexts, have different kinds of challenges that we, across Aliaxis, relish solving: 🛵 In India - we realised plumbers mainly get around on scooters so, as part of safety training, we distributed helmets! 🛁 In Australia - we noted that traditional inspection opening test plugs are a source of serious frustration for plumbers doing pipe pressure tests...so, we made a fail-safe, easy-to-use one! 📚 In Europe - we built a new training centre to teach newer techniques like electrofusion. ... In fact, being a friend of the plumber is showing we think they’re "super" even when they’re not brothers from Italy 💪🎮 Three cheers to all the plumbers out there today and the challenges they throw our way—thanks to you #WeMakeLifeFlow !#HappyPlumbersDay

With cutting-edge washing technology that cleans off debris and dirt, we are able to turn PVC and HDPE plastic waste into high-quality recyclates, ready to be used in new piping systems. The result? A seamless circular solution for the construction industry and a massive step forward in reducing carbon emissions—by more than 5000 tons annually!
