Teacher of Science & Mathematics, Years 7 to 10, fulltime replacement position for the remainder of 2025.
Key responsibilities:
Undertake the duties relating to the teaching of varied ability classes.
Be on the creative edge of developments in education and curriculum.
Be proactive regarding educational initiatives within curriculum area.
Demonstrate an understanding of the workings of the Australian Curriculum and its application to the designated subject area.
Enhance students’ learning with a variety of methodologies.
Provide students with positive feedback on performance that reinforces student achievement and focuses on improvement.
Be able to work with our Learning Management System, SEQTA.
The successful candidate will:
The successful applicant must be an engaging educator who prides themselves on being an effective communicator who can build meaningful relationships with students, peers and parents.
Be a current registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA).
Have academic qualifications in the appropriate subject area.
Possess or be willing to obtain, a current Working With Children Check, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training.
Support and attend College activities as required.
Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work practices and management strategies.
Have an affinity with, and preparedness to support the Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism of the College.
