Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Childhood Teacher, located in Blackwood, SA. The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging learning activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include planning curriculum, facilitating indoor and outdoor play, observing and documenting children's progress, and collaborating with families and other educators. The role requires effective communication and a passionate commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
Experience in curriculum planning and implementation
Knowledge of child development and learning theories
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to observe, document, and assess children's progress
First Aid certification and a current Working With Children Check
Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
Experience working in a similar role or educational setting
