Your new role

Due to growth, a vacancy is now available for a dedicated L&D Governance and Continuous Improvement Specialist (GCI Specialist) to join their team.

Reporting to the L & D Manager, you will lead the development of a governance and compliance framework and operational plan for learning and development, administer governance and continuous improvement activities in line with ASC strategies.

Additionally, you will participate in quality assurance audits and activities, work with managers to implement processes for sharing learnings from L&D activities, and lead the establishment of a continuous improvement strategy and associated plans.

You will support organisational and team-specific change and culture initiatives identifying actions for continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have experience in L&D or education projects from inception to completion and continuous improvement. It is essential to understand contemporary and modern learning solutions. You will have a good understanding of L&D Systems and interfaces, as well as a sound understanding of export controls and handling classified information. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences, are required, along with the ability to influence stakeholders in decision-making and program execution. This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. Whilst we will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
