2 weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting a half-day workshop for MBA students and alumni at The University of Sydney Business School. It was an inspiring day dedicated to empowering future leaders and innovators, filled with lots of hands-on learning! The event kicked off with interactive seminars led by the incredible Sheree Rubinstein and Frances Goh, who shared their expertise on branding, selecting a business model, pricing, and more. Then, we welcomed Cathy Ellis from The Studio Creative who brought the digital world to life with a live demonstration on building a professional website using Squarespace, showing participants firsthand how accessible and effective an online presence can be. We wrapped up the day with not just one but two captivating Fireside Chats featuring Sydney University alumni who have made their mark as successful entrepreneurs. Katrina Van De Ven MBA, GAICD, founder of LükBook, and Shivani Gopal, founder of Elladex, shared their unique journeys, the challenges they overcame, and what pivoting a business actually looks like.
