In this month’s Town Hall, we looked back on a busy and brilliant few weeks across the Vida Glow world. From exciting retailer launches in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA, to standout appearances at trade shows – our Sales team has been moving with purpose. We also recognised the incredible contributions of our people through the B.E.A.R and Innovation Awards. Congratulations to Rachel Dawson, Courtney Rice and Deelan Do – your work doesn’t just drive impact, it inspires. Rachel, our B.E.A.R winner for Being Real, has built unity and motivation through honest, positive dialogue. Courtney, took out the Innovation Award by using Chat GPT to streamline a traditionally manual conference task – forward thinking at its finest. Deelan, also awarded for Innovation, has set a new benchmark in how insights and creativity come together through his curious, adaptable approach. We sat down with our Copy & Content Specialist, Halimi Castellanos, to chat about her journey at Vida Glow, her go-to products and her advice for breaking into the industry. Here’s what she shared… What is your favourite thing about working at VIDA GLOW? I love the pace, innovation and the amazing team behind the brand. I started about 3.5 years ago, and it’s been incredible to see the success of the products we’ve created, the campaigns we’ve produced and overall just how far the brand has come. It’s been so fun to be part of the journey. Favourite VG product and why? Our liquid collagen. I love a routine that’s convenient and this fits seamlessly into my day—I just pop one in my bag every morning before heading out the door. Something you like to do in your spare time / a fun fact about yourself? I’m currently trying to decide on my next hobby because I can’t keep saying Pilates. So, watch this space (or Bondi Beach because it’s probably going to be surfing). Any tips for someone looking to get into the industry? Don’t be afraid to speak up, share your ideas and think differently. The industry thrives on fresh perspectives and your unique point of view is your biggest asset. Employers will value what you bring to the table that others can’t—whether it’s your creativity, strategic thinking or the way you approach a brief. Confidence in your individuality will set you apart, so lean into what makes you different and use it to your advantage.

Over the weekend, our Senior Research Scientist, Lauren Dewsbury, took the stage at the ACE conference in London, sharing the science behind collagen supplementation as an evidence-based tool for skin ageing. Joining her were our UK Sales Managers, Jessica McVicar and Vania Gee, who connected with industry leaders and hosted an exclusive collagen tasting station.
