Always a pleasure when to work on a project that ends with success. Pressure control on 36 Gauge wheels, 36 Press wheels and 36 individually controlled tine positions - all on ISOBUS. Challenge met!!
A major milestone took place this week at mpt.ag with us acheiving a full #IsoBUS compliant Air-Seeder. This now allows us to essentrially program the seeding paramters with #IsoXML shape files created off known soil maps. And while the goal is in moisture seeking to acheive uniform crop emergence, the downforce and packing pressure required to acheive this needs to proportinally change at the same time, which this machine can do. Sometimes I think one of the challenges in #AgTech is in explaining the enormaty of a technology to the outside world, and feel that this technology is in that realm due to the agronomic opportunities this opens - especially when considering #emergence is arguably the most critical part of the cropping program. In the next week, we will start some early cropping trials so that we are ready to commence full scale runs commencing in April for #Plant25.
