It was a chance for tenants to take a mindful break, learn the art of traditional calligraphy, and discover the meaning behind words of fortune and prosperity. There’s something special about slowing down, dipping a brush into ink, and creating something with intention. It was inspiring to see everyone fully engaged, having fun, and proudly taking home their handwritten characters to display. What was once a mostly American holiday is now a fun, creative way for people to connect, both at home and at work. Last year was huge for us—we ran pumpkin carving workshops for Westfields, Google, hosted sessions in our studio, at buildings for tenant activation and even libraries and local schools. Watching people get hands-on, carving pumpkins, and sharing laughs was a blast! It’s amazing how something as simple as carving pumpkins can bring people together and spark creativity.
