NAB Foundation has more than quadrupled its support for Disaster Relief Australia’s ‘NAB Foundation Recovery Crew’ over the next three years to help communities better prepare for and recover from disasters. Following the devastating impacts of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, the NAB Foundation Recovery crew, along with NAB CEO Andrew Irvine, met with DRA in the cyclone-affected area of Redland Bay to announce the extended partnership. DRA’s CEO Dave Smith said NAB Foundation’s continued support would help put more community and corporate volunteers on the ground to aid disaster preparedness and recovery efforts in their own backyards. “Alfred reminded us that disasters can strike at any time, and sometimes with little notice. The need for rapid, coordinated recovery efforts has never been greater.” Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gHP4UigY.

As part of an integration launched today, NAB Portal Pay will automatically and securely send transaction data from rental payments directly to MRI’s Property Tree platform, used by more than 29,000 property managers. The partnership makes it faster, simpler and easier to automatically reconcile rental payments through an advanced rental payment capture feature and is set to save property managers at least half an hour every day. And that’s not all – NAB Portal Pay has just been awarded the Best SME Payments Innovation at the Global SME Banking Innovation Awards. NAB Business Transaction Banking Executive Paul Riley said NAB Portal Pay, launched just last year, features rental and real time sale deposit payments, industry-grade security and allows for further integration with other major real estate platforms in the future. “NAB is the first major bank in Australia to launch a product like Portal Pay that offers real time property sale deposit collection processing, tracking and reconciliation of rent payments and is part of NAB’s strategy of using innovations to make everyday banking simpler for businesses.” https://lnkd.in/gr9qt_8i
