🛠️ Piling is underway at Melton! 👷 Our crews are using a 75-tonne piling rig to dig 40 piles along the rail corridor. 🚆 These piles will form the foundations for the 2 rail bridges that will separate trains and vehicles along the rail line. ⤴️ We’re elevating the rail line at Coburns Road and Exford Road and building a brand new Melton Station with 4 platforms. ✅ The project will ease congestion, improve safety and deliver a modern station precinct for passengers. ➡️ Learn more: https://bit.ly/3Y3pMaB

🏗 Piling is a wrap at Hopkins Road! 👷♀️ Our crews have poured a massive 280,000 litres of concrete to form the foundations of the new Hopkins Road bridge. 🌉 Two piling rigs dug 48 piles, and the road bridge embankments are under construction with 72,000 tonnes of earth moved so far. 👏 The Hopkins Road level crossing will be gone with the new road bridge open by 2026 - 2 years ahead of schedule. ➡️ Learn more: https://bit.ly/42tkkyV

👀 What's happening at Watsons Road? 🏗 We've wrapped up piling works at Watsons Road in Diggers Rest. 👷 Crews used a 65-tonne piling rig to dig piles, which will form the foundations for the new road bridge over the rail line. 🚧 We're also continuing to construct the retaining walls for the road bridge. ✅ Later this year, the boom gates at Old Calder Highway and Watsons Road, Diggers Rest will be gone for good. ➡️ Find out more: https://bit.ly/4idOE6L

📬 Mordialloc and Aspendale, you've got mail! 🤩 The final designs are here for the level crossing removals at McDonald Street, Mordialloc and Station Street, Aspendale, and closure at Bear Street. 🚉 Check out your new premium Mordialloc Station, with landscaping in and around the station precinct and new walking and cycling paths. 🛣️ The final designs also include updates to local roads and a left turn onto Nepean Highway from the new link road in Aspendale. 👷 Major construction kicks off later this year, with the new station open and Mordialloc level crossing free in 2026. ➡️ Read more: https://bit.ly/4j0eYSO

🥾 Boots on the ground at Webster Street! 👷 Work is underway to build a new road underpass and remove the Webster Street, Dandenong level crossing for good. 💪 Following site establishment works last month, a 95-tonne piling rig has been digging the first piles. 🦺 Crews will return later this year to dig more than 380 piles to form the foundations for the new road underpass and retaining walls. ➡️ Read more: https://bit.ly/4i8JBVb

🤩 A new Beaconsfield road bridge has been named McKenna Drive to honour local identity Carmel McKenna, well known for her decades of service to the Beaconsfield community. ✅ The road bridge connects Beaconsfield Avenue to Kenilworth Avenue over the Pakenham Line and has seen the Station Street level crossing, our 85th level crossing – gone for good. ➡️ Learn more: https://bit.ly/3F6LW4Z
