AI and 3D cell culture technology are changing the game in cancer research. A new feature in The Canberra Times highlights how researchers at Macquarie University are using advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, and #RASTRUM bioprinting to create patient-derived tumor models and guide personalized cancer treatment. “It prints the tumour cells—it’s like an inkjet printer that individuals may have at home but far fancier... We can take those little prints—they're like little gels—and treat them with our clinically available therapies.” – Prof. Helen Rizos, Macquarie Medical School The goal? To model tumor responses in 3D in as little as 10 days—providing fast, functional insights that may one day support clinical research and treatment development, especially for rare or difficult to treat cancers. 📰 Read the story and see how cutting-edge innovations are making an impact in personalized medicine: https://lnkd.in/gUArpNyh #CancerResearch #3DCellCulture #Bioprinting #RASTRUM #AIinHealthcare #PrecisionMedicine #InventiaLifeScience
